LOW-CHLORINE WATER TREATMENT
SYSTEMS FOR COMMERCIAL POOLS

All commercial and municipal swimming pools and spas are required to maintain a very high standard of disinfection at al times. Present methods would include the use of chlorination or bromination, usually in conjunction with automatic feeders The drawbacks to all the chemical disinfection methods are well known and include the handling & storage of toxic chemicals, the problems associated with heavy or varying bathing loads, as well as chlorine dissipation in sunlight.

  • Save by reducing chemicals by up to 90%

The Superior Aqua System, which has been researched and proven in field operation right here in the United States, will, by carrying the bulk of the water purification and sanitizing load, drastically reduce operating costs associated with other conventional treatments, while more effectively killing algae, bacteria and viruses. The remaining 10% is due to State laws governing the operation of public pools and spas requiring a minimum residual of free and available chlorine at all times. Superior Aqua Systems suggests a chlorine residual of 0.4 ppm for oxidation purposes, but as local regulations may vary, they should be checked and observed.

  • Save on maintenance costs.

Further savings will result from reductions in maintenance costs as a direct benefit of reducing the corrosive effects of chlorine on plant and equipment. Ionized water is nontoxic, odorless, tasteless, non-corrosive, and stable since it is not affected by sunlight or high temperatures.

  • Save on “backwashing” costs.

Ionization decreases the number of times a year that a pool has to be “backwashed,” which tends to save additional money on both water and labor costs.

The equipment is approved for installation in all 50 states.
The equipment is UL listed for electrical safety, Certified by N.S.F.
International for biocide efficacy and registered with the E.P.A.

All superior Aqua Systems are easy to operate and are designed to deliver maximum performance without the service intensive scenario that often plagues pool operators. We have a range of models available which can treat any volume of water and our technical staff can design and build custom units for specific applications. Call for additional information.
